People should be educated about the clinical signs of cholera. Once you manifest some of the symptoms like profuse colorless diarrhea, vomiting, severe dehydration, muscular cramps, cyanosis and in severe case collapse you should see your doctor immediately.
Patient positive of Cholera should be isolated to avoid infecting any members of the family. Always remember that the period of communicability is between 7-14 days after onset. Some important measures to control cholera is adequate hydration and always make the patient comfortable as possible.
